Megan Nielsen Mini Virginia Leggings

Buy the Children's Mini Virginia Leggings sewing pattern from Megan Nielsen. These leggings with an elasticated waist sit below the natural waist and feature two waistband options, two lengths, optional cuffs and four knee patch options.

Version 1 is a legging with knee patches. Version 2 is a legging with cuffs and a separate waistband. Version 3 is a shortie for layering under skirts and dresses.

Suggested fabrics: Stretch fabrics with at least 30% stretch, preferably containing spandex or lycra. Please note that this pattern has negative ease, and as such it is very important to choose fabrics with the appropriate amount of stretch in order to get the correct fit.

Version 1: 150 cm (60") or 115 cm (45") wide fabric: 0.6 - 1 m (5/8 - 1 1/8 yd).

Version 2: 150 cm (60") or 115 cm (45") wide fabric: 0.6 - 1 m (5/8 - 1 1/8 yd).

Version 3: 150 cm (60") or 115 cm (45") wide fabric: 0.3 - 0.5 m (1/4 - 1/2 yd).

Patches (Version 1): 0.2 m (1/8 yd).

Sizing: 2 - 12 years. Please check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: 2.5 cm (1") wide elastic.
